Ron studied HRM in Rotterdam, followed by Social Sciences in Utrecht. During this course, Ron came into contact with the recruitment profession. He initially worked for Rabobank Nederland at the department for job market communication and then progressed to Rabobank International where he worked as a Recruitment/HRM Adviser. After almost eight years, Ron moved to Independent Recruiters to progress to Agency Recruiter/Headhunter. Ron was in this role for two years, then joined Achmea for a large project. After working on this IT project for 18 months, Ron rejoined the Independent Recruiters Group and now works on IT recruitment paths and arranges intermediary placements on behalf of Independent Professionals. Ron can also be called upon as an Intermediary Recruiter for various assignments. In his spare time, Ron is an active committee member of the Dutch Association of Personnel Management & Organisation Development and is responsible for the Strategic Recruitment section.
