As Director of Food & Beverage you are ultimately responsible for the day-to-day business. With your creative mind-set you know how to take service and standards to a higher level. In addition, you are responsible for the budget and you will report directly to the Hotel Manager.

Job profile

The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for ensuring the high quality of the entire Food & Beverage departments. In addition, you are responsible for:

  • The strategic F&B policy;
  • The development and operation of the F&B outlets;
  • Ensuring procedures and processes;
  • The development and coaching of the employees;
  • The financial administration, such as budget, cost control and purchasing;
  • Optimal external and internal guest satisfaction;
  • Developing commercial opportunities;


As the Director of Food & Beverage you have or are:

  • A completed hospitality education, preferably a Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management;
  • Worked as a Director of Food & Beverage or Assistant Director Food & Beverage for at least 3 years;
  • General professional knowledge and technical skills in service standards, beverage knowledge, stewarding, and banqueting;
  • Knowledge of Belgian legislation and regulations;
  • Financial insight and ability to write and analyze reports;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Dutch, English and French language.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following characteristics:

  • Guest-oriented, entrepreneurial, goal-oriented, leadership;
  • Has social/PR skills;
  • Operational management, communicative, delegation, training & coaching;
  • You also have some knowledge in the field of Sales & Marketing and Human Resources.


This employer offers a great dynamic working environment in the heart of Brussels. The salary indication for the position of Director of Food & Beverage is €5000 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance and 13th month bonus. A company car is also part of the package.
